A number of big names have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge but no deals have got over the lines at the time of writing. Romelu Lukaku trying to force Chelsea exit and return to Inter in summer move

Romelu Lukaku is hoping to force through a return to Inter Milan from Chelsea this summer. Senior sources at both clubs are convinced the striker wants to quit Stamford Bridge after a disappointing season and return to Italy. Following the broadcast of the now infamous interview with Sky Italia at the end of December, in which Lukaku stated he was “not happy” at Chelsea and talked up the prospect of one day returning to Inter, it is understood that he initially resolved to stay and make a success of the club-record £97.5million move. However the 29-year-old, whose form has not significantly improved and who has struggled to impress head coach Thomas Tuchel, now appears determined to leave and is hoping that a move can be agreed. If a deal can be agreed it is likely to be a season-long loan with an option to buy with Lukaku’s lawyer, Sebastien Ledure, believed to be prepared to lead the negotiations. Lukaku’s agent is Federico Pastorello, who brokered the move to Inter from Manche

Despite only making the bench for the clash, it was enough to earn Hazard his first Champions League winners medal having joined Chelsea shortly after their heroics against Bayern Munich in 2012. Hazard left Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2019 for just over £100 million but his time in Spain has been hampered

Tuchel worried about Chelsea falling further behind Man City and Liverpool

Image
SPORT: Tuchel worried about Chelsea falling further behind Man City and Liverpool   Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola are competing for the Premier League title, with Chelsea in third under Thomas Tuchel. Thomas Tuchel admits he is already concerned about closing the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City next season with the sale of the club to American billionaire Todd Boehly still to be officially rubber-stamped. Chelsea’s future plans remain uncertain due to the sense of flux around Stamford Bridge regarding the takeover from Roman Abramovich, with the club effectively under a transfer ban until the sale goes through. Tuchel met Boehly for lunch last week and the American was present again for Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester. And although the transaction is edging closer to completion, the German admits Chelsea are playing catch-up to their rivals. “The top teams like Liverpool bought top players in the winter to make their squad

OPINION Chelsea to reignite Casemiro interest to avoid unrealistic £150m Declan Rice transfer demand Chelsea are in desperate need of a new midfielder but are they capable of getting Declan Rice? Casemiro is the next best option Chelsea are in desperate need of attempting a rebuild with Thomas Tuchel leading the line. Their new owners will be tasked with a hefty job of ensuring that all the squad's needs are being met. The list of players needed is longer than it should be for a club that recently spent over £300 million in the last two summer transfer windows. In fact, the request for a rebuild is rather comical. Despite the focus on Chelsea's defence, the Blues have been needing a shakeup in midfield. Declan Rice and Aurelien Tchouameni have been linked with Chelsea for over a year now. Rice has become a resident Chelsea transfer request, whilst Tchouameni has not been on the radar for as long. With David Moyes posing a ridiculously high price tag for his club captain, going
